Our Journey

Welcome to Bellanasso! Our story begins in 1874 in the picturesque region of Sicily, where Paolo Belle, the son of an olive farmer, met the enchanting Rosa Nasso, whose family had deep roots in grape farming. Their love blossomed, and shortly after their marriage, the families decided to unite their legacies. In 1877, they proudly named their olive oil after this beautiful merging of histories, giving birth to the Bellanasso brand.

Over the years, our production grew, and the Bellanasso name became synonymous with quality olive oil, traded across various regions. Today, with the newest matriarch “Ricardo Belle” of the family now in the United States, we are excited to take a significant step forward. We will begin bottling our oils ourselves out of our New Jersey operation, bringing you the finest products directly from press to bottle.

In addition to our exceptional olive oils, we are proud to extend our line to include some of the best oils & vinegars that Italy and its neighbor countries has to offer.
